Your Guide to Traumasoft CAD Integrations with Roundtrip

Learn about how Roundtrip integrates with Traumasoft for seamless ride management.

Roundtrip's Traumasoft integration streamlines your dispatch workflow. Here's what to expect, from configuration through day-to-day use.

Configuration

Workflow: there's no required workflow decision on your end — Roundtrip reviews your workflow with you during implementation. Community Logic settings (determined by the booking organization) may affect your dispatch team's final workflow.

Data mapping: Traumasoft uses standard data mappings with little to no flexibility to customize. See the full data mapping reference for details.

Need to configure your mapping? See How to Map a Traumasoft Integration.

Responding to Available Rides

Dispatchers still respond to available rides directly in Roundtrip — submitting an ETA or declining based on availability. See Reviewing & Managing Your Rides for the full walkthrough.

The experience varies slightly depending on whether your company is the auto-assigned provider for the booking organization:

  • The ride flows into Traumasoft automatically once booked in Roundtrip. Your company still submits an ETA in Roundtrip.
  • If your company is awarded the ride, its details flow into Traumasoft through the integration, and your dispatch team assigns it to a vehicle.

Managing Rides in Traumasoft

  1. Rides appear in the Incoming Pool or CAD Grid.
  1. Update the Ride Status as the transport progresses.
  1. Status updates in Traumasoft sync automatically to Roundtrip.
  1. Mark the transport Complete once finished — this updates in Roundtrip too.
