How to Map a Traumasoft Integration
Learn how to map your Traumasoft instance once integrated with Roundtrip.
This article provides a detailed guide on how to map your company's Traumasoft integration with Roundtrip to ensure that calls are accurately populated. The following instructions outline the necessary actions that your company should take within Traumasoft:
General Configurations
- In the Management Portal, go to System Mgt > BD Configs > Configs.
- In the BD Config screen, go to the External tab.
- In the generic mapping section you’ll need to fill out the Calltype Map section.
- The following values will need to be mapped to your appropriate call types:
- Bls_car_seat
- Als_car_seat
- Wheelchair_oxygen_wheelchair
- Bls_no_car_seat
- Als_no_car_seat
- Cct_car_seat
- Cct_no_car_seat
- Wheelchair_oxygen_no_wheelchair
- Wheelchair_no_oxygen_no_wheelchair
- Wheelchair_no_oxygen_wheelchair
- Psych_transport
- Medical_sedan
- Optionally, in the Address Map section. you can map Roundtrip locations and groups to existing facilities in Traumasoft so that pickup, drop-off, and ordering facility names will populate in the call correctly.
- Finally, in the Traumasoft configuration, if new calls are set to go to incoming pool, the “Create B Legs” and “As Will Call” options should be turned off.
Mapping Ordering Facilities
In order for the mapping to existing ordering facilities to work, you'll need to configure some location mappings in the CAD2CAD configuration within Traumasoft:
- In Management Portal, go to System Mgt > BD Configs > Configs.
- On the “BD Config” screen, go to the “External” tab. You'll see a section labeled “Facility Mappings”.
- In the “Facility Mappings” section, create a mapping between Roundtrip ordering facilities and your own existing ordering facilities.
Mapping Pickup/Drop-Off Facilities
The Traumasoft integration will only fill the pickup and drop-off facility names in if the name matches exactly to an existing facility. For this, please follow the same steps as outlined above for mapping ordering facilities. As you encounter additional common locations with Roundtrip rides, you will need to set up new mappings within Traumasoft.
