What is Roundtrip?

Roundtrip helps hospitals, health plans, and other organizations remove transportation as a barrier to care. Staff can quickly book any vehicle type a patient needs — rideshare, wheelchair van, even ambulance — and every ride gets tracked, managed, and recorded in one place.

Arranging patient transportation used to mean hours on the phone with transportation and insurance providers. Roundtrip replaces that with software: book a ride in minutes, get automatic authorization support, and choose from a large network of transportation providers — all from one screen.

The Roundtrip Community is a network of credentialed transportation companies. Partners in the Community can view and claim ride requests from health systems and health plans directly through the Roundtrip Portal.

You don't sign up for Roundtrip on your own — your doctor, care coordinator, or health plan uses Roundtrip to arrange your rides to and from care. If transportation is getting in the way of an appointment, that's exactly what we're here to fix.

Once your ride is booked, we match you with the right vehicle for your needs — anything from a rideshare to an ambulance — and keep you updated by text or phone call every step of the way, from booking to pickup.

Exactly how you interact with Roundtrip depends on your organization's setup. Some riders can book and manage their own rides through the Rider App, while others rely on a care coordinator or health plan staff to book on their behalf.
