Rider Notifications & Managing Your Ride
Roundtrip sends you updates about your ride by text message or automated call — in English or Spanish, based on your preference. Both come from (215) 309-9702 or (321) 320-9219.
When You'll Get a Notification
If your ride is a rideshare (Lyft/Uber):
- Your ride is booked
- Your ride is dispatched to find a driver
- A canceled ride is redispatched to find a new driver
- A driver is assigned — this includes the driver's name, phone number, ETA, and vehicle details
- The driver arrives at pickup
- Your ride is canceled
- A reminder to launch a will-call ride
If your ride is any other vehicle type:
- Your ride is booked
- Your ride is edited
- A transportation provider is assigned
- A reminder 24 hours before your ride
- Your provider reports they're running late
- Your ride is canceled

Managing Your Ride by Text
Many of these messages include a secure link you can tap to:
- View your ride details
- Cancel your ride if plans change
- Track your ride
This lets you manage your ride without calling anyone. For example, the day before your ride you might get a message like:
"Hi {name}, your ride is booked for {date}. When you're ready, tap here to request pickup or manage your ride: {link}"
Verifying It's You
Before you can view your ride details, we'll ask you to verify your identity with a quick two-step check:
- Enter your phone number
- Enter the code we text you
This only takes a few seconds. Since your ride details can include personal and health information, this step keeps that information private and makes sure only you can see it.
Once You're Verified, You Can:
- Cancel your ride if plans change
- Launch a will-call ride
- View your pickup time and ride details
- Track your ride as it approaches
- See your assigned rideshare driver
- Contact your transportation provider
