Dispatcher Notifications
Notification Methods
Roundtrip offer notifications via automated text message, email, or desktop notifications.
- For automated text messages, all notifications will be sent from Roundtrip’s notification phone numbers, (215) 309-9702 or (321) 320-9219.
- For email notifications, all emails will be sent from app@rideroundtrip.com.
- Once enabled, notifications will appear on your desktop in real-time when your Roundtrip desktop app is open.
By default, Dispatchers are opted in to receive email notifications to the email address associated with their Roundtrip account. At any time, however, Dispatchers are welcome to update their preferred notification method, including enabling desktop notifications. This can be configured in the “Account Settings” menu on a user-by-user basis.
We’ve given a facelift to your driver profile page in Roundtrip. In addition to seeing your usual profile info, you’ll now see a new tab where you can configure which notifications you receive

Configurable Notifications
Access communication preferences in the Notifications tab on your profile. Choose your preferences for each individual ride moment by checking the box on or off- by text, by email, desktop notifications, or all three! By default, you will be opted in to email notifications.
For example, if you want desktop notifications only when new rides are available, but a text and email when one has been assigned to you, check those as on and check others off.
Click Update to save- you will only receive notifications for those ride moments you selected with a checkmark.

Enabling Desktop Notifications
- In the Roundtrip portal, click your initials and select Account Settings.
- Choose the Notifications tab and tap the toggle at the bottom to enable desktop notifications.
- Once enabled, you will be prompted by your browser to give permission for Roundtrip’s notifications- it is important that you say yes to this. Enabling permissions will allow Roundtrip to share these notifications with you.
- Now, choose the types of updates you want to appear on your desktop. Customize with a combination of all three forms of notification: email, text, and now desktop notifications.
I Am Not Receiving Desktop Notifications
The most important step in activating desktop notifications is ensuring that you have toggled on the setting AND allowed access to your browser.
To troubleshoot, return to your notifications settings and look at the desktop notifications.
- Is it enabled?
- Is it blocked?
If blocked, click Setup Instructions to troubleshoot for your specific browser.
