Rider Notifications & Managing Your Ride
This article covers when you’ll receive ride notifications, how to use secure links in text messages to manage your ride, and why you may be asked to verify your identity to keep your information safe.
Rider Notifications
You may receive text messages to keep you updated about your ride, including:
- When your ride is scheduled
- When a driver is assigned
- The day before your ride (reminder)
- If your ride is updated or canceled
Some of these messages may include a secure link that lets you:
- View your ride details
- Cancel your ride if your plans have changed
- Track your ride
These tools are designed to help you manage your ride quickly, without needing to call.
The day before your ride, you may receive a message like the one below.
“Hi {name}, your ride is booked for {date}. When you’re ready, tap here to request pickup or manage your ride: {link}”
- You want to review your ride details
- Your plans have changed and you no longer need your ride

Verify Your Identity
Before viewing your ride details, you will need to verify your identity. This is done using two-step verification, which helps to:
- Protect your information
- Prevent unauthorized access
- Keep your ride details secure
During two-step verification you will be asked to:
- Enter your phone number
- Enter a code sent to you by text
This usually only takes a few seconds. Both verification steps are required to protect your information. Your ride details may include personal and health-related information, so we need to make sure only you can access it. This keeps your health information safe and private.
Manage Your Ride

Once you’re verified, you can:
- Cancel your ride if your plans have changed
- Call for a will call
- View your pickup time and ride details
- Track your ride as it approaches
- View your assigned rideshare driver
- Contact your transportation provider
You can still contact the Roundtrip 24/7 Navigation Center if you need help launching or canceling a ride. (877) 396 - 8080.
