Monitoring Rides in Roundtrip

An overview of ride statuses that your company may encounter within Roundtrip.

A ride status badge is Roundtrip’s way of updating you on a ride’s current status. These badges can vary- depending on whether a ride has been assigned to your company or if it is still available in the community.

 

Ride Status Badges in the Community

While rides remain available in the Community and are not yet assigned to a transportation company, several different badges will provide updates on the ride's availability, even before it is assigned to a transportation company.

A major distinction of status badges in the community is the timer feature.

It displays the remaining time before the ETA Submission Window closes. Once the ETA Submission Window closes the ride will be awarded to the company with the most preferable ETA, if an acceptable ETA has been submitted.

New ride A new ride has become available in your Community via auto-refresh. The timer indicates how much time is left within the ETA Submission Window.

Confirm ETA

A ride previously won has had a critical attribute updated. The timer indicates how much time left is within the new ETA submission window. Rides without a confirmation will return to the community.

Responded You or another dispatcher at your company has already submitted an ETA for this ride. The timer indicates how much time is left within the ETA Submission Window.

Declined You or another dispatcher at your company has already declined this ride. The timer indicates how much time is left within the ETA Submission Window.

Available A ride is available and has not yet received an ETA from your company. The timer indicates how much time is left within the ETA Submission Window. If no timer is present, the ETA Submission Window has already ended but the ride has not yet been claimed.

Preferred A ride is available and has not yet received an ETA from your company. The timer indicates how much time is left within the ETA Submission Window.

Not started A ride is available but it is scheduled as a will call and has not yet had a time set. You will not be able to submit an ETA in Roundtrip until a ride time is set.

 
 

Ride Status Badges for Assigned Rides

Once a ride is assigned to your company, it appears under the "Rides" tab in Roundtrip. This section also displays a set of badges to keep you informed about the ride's status.

Assigned

The ride is assigned to your company.

In Progress — On time

You or another dispatcher at your company has indicated that the transport is now in progress.

Delayed In Progress — Late 15 mins

You or another dispatcher at your company has indicated that the transport is in progress but the driver is running late. The number of minutes can vary depending on how late the transport is.

Completed

Your company has indicated that the transport was successfully completed.

Canceled

The ride was canceled. Depending on the cancelation reason, the ride may have been canceled by the Rider, the Ride Booker, Roundtrip, or a Dispatcher at your company.

The ride is assigned to your company but your company has not yet submitted an ETA for the ride.

Part of a ride assigned to your company has been edited.

Auto Assigned Will Call

A ride has been automatically assigned to your company and is in will call status.

Assigned and Authorizing

This ride has been assigned to your transportation company and is in the process of being authorized.

This ride is assigned to your company, but it is scheduled as a will call and has not yet had a time set.
